Part of the distillerys Elements range, it explores how different cask types can transform M&Hs fruit-forward house style, with rye whiskey casks bringing an additional layer of spice, toasted grain and oak complexity.

M&H matures its whisky in Israels hot Mediterranean climate, where interaction between spirit and oak occurs particularly rapidly. The distillery has experimented extensively with casks ranging from bourbon and Israeli wine to sherry, Islay and rye whiskey barrels. The Rye Cask expression combines M&Hs characteristic orchard fruit, honey and vanilla character with the more assertive spice associated with rye casks, resulting in a whisky that sits somewhere between elegant single malt and spicy American whiskey.

Tasting Notes Colour: Warm gold with rich amber highlights. Nose: Fresh and expressive, with aromas of green apple, pear and citrus layered with vanilla, honey and toasted cereal.
